The Machado Flyfishing Club - Glenshee is located on the R36 Carolina Road, Machadodorp,  where we have private dams stocked from our hatchery. Ablutions and Bar Facilities are available.An idyllic setting, with rudimentary camping facilities which provide a unique and wonderful get-away from city life. Our hatchery stocks our waters on a weekly basis, and fly fishing for Trout - Rainbow and Golden, is available year-round. Club competitions are held 4 times a year as well as social events and special weekends. Still the most economical way to catch your Trout, as a rod fee of only R70 per day is charged, which allows you unlimited catch and release for the day and a bag limit of 2 trout.Camping is charged per person per day, and caravans are also available for hire.

Glenshee offers prime Fly fishing in the heart of Mapumalanga, South Africa. The club waters consist of 2 Trout dams and 1 Bass dam that is suitable for kick-boats and float-tubes. 2km of river runs through Glenshee and is in the process of being upgraded to supply superb fishing conditions. Large-Mouth Bass and Tilapia also occur naturally in the dams. A well-grassed caravaning and camping area is available with water and electrictiy points. Hot-water showers are also available in the ablution block. Bar facilities and lounge area in the Club-House along with basic Fly-fishing tackle for sale in the shop. Water-birds such as ducks, geese, spoonbills, ibises, herons, etc. Other species such as cormorants, kingfishers, fish eagles, kites and owls also frequent the dams and nest close by. At the first stop street turn right onto the Carolina Rd. Directly opposite the factory entrance turn left onto a dirt road. The first turning left is the driveway to Glenshee Farm Caravan and Camping site.
